Early Life
Born to mixed parents, Tony grew up in East Replay for his whole life. He tried his hardest at school but got low grades, tried to learn to drive but he failed 4 times so he gave up, he never learnt to cook and he can't speak a word of Chinese. When he turned 18, he was fed up of feeling like a failure so he moved to the other side of Replay and set on a life of improving himself.
Plot Life
One day, Tony thought he finally had the chance to make a difference. He was walking home after a half-breakdown in the park when he heard a woman crying for help in an alleyway. In a surge of confidence, he decided to confront her attacker. But he was tricked. The black rabbit was faking her fear and the large blond vampire next to her slammed him against the wall and exposed his neck. A moment later, the two of them dove in and drank their fill. As the minutes passed, his struggling got less and less and eventually he was struggling to even take deep enough breaths to sate himself. Once they turned into a black cloud and disappeared, Tony collapsed. He tried to call for help or push himself up, but he could barely move. The last thing Tony saw before his vision faded was the legs of the people in the busy street, completely ignoring him.
Unfortunately, Tony continued to be very unlucky because he woke up again. In Deaths own realm. To be tormented for the rest of eternity by ghosts of his killers. Fun, right? A real fun way to spend 3 months straight, not that he had a clock in there. He had resigned to his fate when he heard voices that weren't Terrin or Mason's. They made him curious, but he didn't get his hopes up. But then they..came in. And found him. Someone actually found him. Before long, he was waking up in that alleyway, alive. He immediately went to thank Eren and Val at the police station, before promptly moving to 'the safest apartment block in Replay' and vowed to never be brave again.
However, that turned out to be a big fat lie. Only a few months after he moved, he heard something outside his door. He ignored it at first, keeping to his vow. But when he heard a crahs two more times, he decided to investigate. Were cops at the door? he knew he lived with a lot of women neighbours, so he was worried it was someone targeting them. He took a deep breath and charged outside, swinging a punch at the source of the noise. Turns out it was his worst nightmare. Right there. Who he just punched in the face. Surprisingly, he wasn't immediately eviscerated. Instead Mason just shoved Tony to his knees and cut his own wrist, forcing Tony to choke down his blood. Confused and terrified, Tony barely managed to swallow the blood but once he did, Mason knelt down and looked at him closely. After a few moments of staring at the coughing boy, Mason disappeared into a black cloud. When Tony managed to stumble back into his apartment, he locked the door and shoved his table in front of it, opting to spend the next three days in his locked bedroom.
After about a week, Tony felt..different. He wasn't hungry anymore, but he felt himself getting weaker. A couple of his teeth fell out too. Tony had no idea was happening, he thought he was dying but he was in no way brave enough to venture outside to go to the hospital. So he just stayed in bed and eventually felt too weak to keep his eyes open, drifting off as his vision faded. Once he awoke again, he felt cold. Too cold. And there was a knock at his door. He slowly got up and moved his table away from the door before opening it. It was a small bag of blood with a straw and a note to 'go to the top floor or else - M' which he promptly threw out. He stared at the blood bag for a while, before finally sipping it. It actually didn't taste too bad? and it made him feel better. So he downed the thing. After wiping his lips and gagging a bit, he looked to the elevator. He considered just hiding in his room again, but he was a little afraid of the 'or else' so he finally decided to go upstairs.
That was the worst mistake he could have made. After arriving upstairs, Mason promptly brainwashed him and integrated him into his group. He was the last to arrive before Aiden and with his brainwashing, he settled in quickly. He bantered with the girls and got drunk at the bar a few times but he spent most of his time getting taught by Mason because he had 'potential' unlike the others. Mason taught him how to use his super speed and how to use his strength. But sometimes, he wasn't good enough. So Mason got angry. And when Mason gets angry, he punishes them. Those punishments usually ended with bloody sheets and sore throats. Usually always. And every morning when he'd wake up naked, Mason would be at the end of his bed watching him. If Tony didn't apologise fast enough? Round two.
Honestly, you'd think being brainwashed would mean people wouldn't fight back. But nope, somehow they still could. Deep down, Tony hated Mason. In one of his super speed lessons, that hate bled through. Mason caught the insult straight away and didn't even wait to drag Tony to his bed. Instead he brandished a knife and treated Tony like a cat tree. Demanding that he 'thinks about his insubordination', Mason left him bleeding on the floor. Sliced and cut so deep with a silver blade that he could see his bones, Tony didn't know how long it'd take for him to heal. If he did. After a few hours of laying there, he managed to slowly crawl to his bathtub and climb inside. No one saw him for the next week.
When he returned to normality and his wounds scarred over, Tony never mentioned it to anybody. Mason didn't either, but he still expected his apology. Tony apologised to him, but it wasn't quick enough in Mason's eyes. So he just got salt rubbed on his wounds, metaphorically though. His brainwashing was too strong to make him deviate, but deep down he despised Mason.
Tony knew it was a bad idea when Aiden showed up. Aiden was the special one. He heard about it from Terrin. He was the one they cared about. He knew that people would come looking for him and that they would have to fight them. But Mason just brushed his worries aside and told him to stick to his solo training, turning his attention to Aiden and his human boy instead. Tony was fed up, but left Aiden alone. He was right though. A few days later, a cop showed up. They managed to stop him from telling his friends, though. Later that day, Mason told him to go kidnap the cops friends with Veronica. He agreed and went into the city. They managed to nab the girls and they brought them back. Then things started going wrong.
Eventually, the cops found them and showed up in a huge force. Tony watched as their numbers slowly grew smaller on the TV before only a few of them were left. He and the others took on a few of the cops and fought them while Mason and Terrin went to face the main ones. They fought for a while before his mind suddenly went..clear. And then a migraine hit. He had no idea where he was or what he was doing up there fighting a cop, but he felt free from something. The cops told him he was brainwashed by Mason. He believed them. They set him up in a hotel and gave him some time to remember everything, before questioning began.
If he wasn't literally tortured by Mason, Tony would say the aftermath was the worst. Shadowy nightmares that grew clearer every night. Newspeople knocking on his door every day asking for a statement. Cameras shoved in his face as he left the house to go help the police. Dozens of police questioning sessions and the worst, the evidence gathering. Rape kits. Blood tests. Too many tests. It took a few months before it all finally stopped and the news story was forgotten.
He knew he wouldn't be the same as before, even if he took that serum Eren offered him to turn human again. His personality had been twisted and his mind and body were violated by extremes he never ever imagined happening. He felt off no matter what he did. Eventually he agreed to meet up with the other vampires and he felt..normal. He wasn't sure why, but he felt like he could be normal around them all, whatever his normal is now. So he felt..better. Even if he's constantly getting letters about interviews and nightmares about Mason, he has his friends.
Current Life
After the police investigation and clear-out was over, Tony finally returned to his own apartment. He doesn't do much in the day, just watching TV or texting the others. He knows he should probably get a job, but he doesn't like going outside much now at risk of being recognised again. Still, he passes him time with a lot of TV and a lot of puzzles. Gotta keep the brain active somehow, right?
Personality
Before Mason, the shyest boy in the world. Now he's just sassy and antsy. He's the type to 'triple dog dare' somebody and film the chaos, but at least he'll give them a hot chocolate after laughing at them.
Skills
Recounting every line of the first three episodes of Breaking Bad
Strengths
Excels in Speed, Brave
Weaknesses
Easily manipulated, Slow reaction time and usually sleep-deprived from his nightmares and has NO rizz with the other vampire girls
Hobbies
Watching TV, hanging out with the other vampires and doing puzzles
Loves
Watching TV, being with someone else
Likes
Puzzles, playing games with the others
Dislikes
Going outside (he's had way too many 'influencers' shove a camera in his face to beg questions about Mason) and Horror movies (he's seen enough blood to last a lifetime)
Hates
Mason and memories of him, Sharp objects (all his cutlery is rubber and he uses kid cutting toys for cooking) and fighting (verbal or physical)
Physical Looks
Pale skin, Short straight black hair and black eyes with white glowing pupils and a white glowing ring around them. Underneath his long sleeves and jeans, he looks akin to frankenstein. Scars from deep cuts spread across every inch of his body that will never heal.
Clothes
Usually wears dark clothes and before Mason, loved t-shirts. Afterwards, he prefers long sleeves and hoodies. He almost never shows his skin other than his hands and neck. Sometimes even neck is a push from his bite marks, so he sometimes covers them with headphones or a scarf.
Status: Two inches away from a restraining order
How they met: In an alleyway pretending to assault Terrin to lure in a victim
Personal Sentiments: Hate isn't a big enough word for Mason. After being violated, tortured and brainwashed, Tony wants to see the guy burn. But..he also doesn't. He just wants to forget him and move on. And that might anger Mason more than any other reaction.
Extras: No matter how much Mason tried, Tony is still straight.
Status: Friends
How they met: Met after Mason brainwashed Tony
Personal Sentiments: Tony likes Veronica. In a crush way? who knows. But they got paired together for training or 'outings' a lot and when they got drunk while brainwashed, they'd have fun together. But nowadays they just hang out in the friend group. Maybe things go the same when they're drunk, but Tony doesn't drink a lot.
Extras: Canonically had a one night stand. Probably had a few under Mason's brainwashing, though.
Status: Friends
How they met: Met after Mason brainwashed Tony
Personal Sentiments: He didn't talk to Grace much while brainwashed, but he likes her. The Original Mason hater, he admires her. She's gone through a lot with Mason but she still does what she loves and spends time with her friends. He's a little jealous.
Extras: Grace wants him to go on her stream. He'd rather jump in a holy water pool.
Status: Friends
How they met: She lured him into an alleyway with Mason by pretending to be assaulted
Personal Sentiments: Even after what she did, Tony feels bad for Terrin. She spent all day at the bar or in Mason's bedroom and even though she was brainwashed, he could tell she was sad. Now? at least she helps calm Alice down.
Extras: T names stick together
Status: Friends?
How they met: Met after Mason brainwashed Tony
Personal Sentiments: Tony thinks Alice is a bit..much. She expresses her anger outwardly, usually aimed at the others or him. He hates her arguements with Grace. He just wishes she'd calm down and move on.
Extras: They barely interacted under Mason's brainwashing because Alice stuck around Grace so much.
Status: Friends
How they met: They met after Aiden was kidnapped by Mason to join the group
Personal Sentiments: he much prefers Aiden un-brainwashed. The two of them chat about the TV shows they've both seen and they like sharing clothes sometimes. It's not gay, Aiden just has comfy sweaters.
Extras:
How they met: RPD Police station after he was revived.
Personal Sentiments: Tony doesn't know him that well, but he is so glad Eren exists. He saved him from Deaths realm AND he helped lead the charge against Mason.
Extras: Luckily the only person to not be fed up of Eren and Val because he hasn't seen them together for more than 20 seconds yet.
Status: Estranged
Personal Sentiments: Tony loves his parents, although he feels bad he was such a failure to them. But after Mason's plan hit the news, he never got a text from them. He tells himself 'maybe they were busy' or 'maybe they didn't know I was involved' but deep down he knows they just don't care about him anymore.
Extras: It's real easy to disappoint a chinese mom. Just say you don't want to be a doctor.
- Made on a whim to make Terrin and Mason connect him to Aiden after they first team up again
- Possibly one of my only cisstraightallo characters
- Was originally Korean and bilingual but I like making him pathetic and bad at things
